   I sincerely pay my respects to His Late Highness Prince LEE Ku as the grand symbol of time-honored tradition of Korea, although  there is no official royal family any more in the Republic of Korea.
   But it is needless to say that the last crown prince of former Korea must keep his honorable dignity up as the last offshoots from the ruined dynastic family until His Highness will pass away. (His Late Highness passed away in 2005 where his parents' former residence in Tokyo)

    On 16 July 2005, following the death of His Highness Prince Ku, the Lee Family Council chose LEE Won, a descendant of the Chosun Dynasty, as the next Head of Korean Imperial Household and they also made his title the Hereditary Prince Imperial (Hwangsason) in the meaning of inherited a title of Prince LEE Ku. Long live His Royal Highness the Hereditary Prince LEE Won who is out last imperial line in Korean history!
